Volleyball

West Central Volleyball is excited to partner with West Central Youth League to offer a new youth volleyball program! Volleyball is for girls in 1st-5th Grade. Teams will be broken up into 8U (1st and 2nd), and 10U (3rd, 4th, and 5th). Registration will open in November each year. Practices will take place on Sundays in the High School gym, with the possibility of adding a practice one evening during the week if gym space allows. Registration covers the cost of AAU membership for the league, coach fees, a uniform top, and necessary supplies and maintenance. Families need to provide black shorts and knee pads. Teams will play area schools on 4-5 Sundays starting in late January. The season will end before Spring Break. All communication and scheduling will take place through the Heja app.

Each volleyball player must be a registered member of AAU before participating in their first practice.

Instructions for Registering with AAU Volleyball:

1. Go to http://www.aausports.org

2. Click on Join Now under individual athlete membership

3. Click Get a Membership ➡ Choose Youth Athlete Membership

4. Select Volleyball in the drop-down menu

5. Select the coverage and term options of your choice

6. Select West Central Youth Volleyball League - Code: W3F49Y

7. Complete form ➡ Enter billing info ➡ Checkout

8. Print out membership card emailed to you by AAU. Card must be signed by athlete and legal guardian. Give card to coach prior to first practice.
